how to get a proctored practice test?
« on: July 23, 2008, 04:05:03 PM »
I believe it'll be very helpful to have several proctored practice tests.

I know there's a 'proctor DVD' for $30, but still I want it to be as real as possible...

is it possible to get into PowerScore's or Testmaster's practice tests for a certain fee?

1. Go here: http://www.kaptest.com/lsat?cid=386981

2. Click "find a free event" on the left sidebar and enter your info

3. Thank me

EDIT: Being mid-summertime, there might not be any going on anytime soon - they usually do them right before launching their classes to drum up interest so mid-august into september would be good times to look. If that's the case, you can save step 3 for later.
Best of luck to everyone!

why not just ask a friend? I'm planning on doing them weekly in Starbucks (because it goes through periods of being quiet and busy) and hopefully rope my boyfriend in. I'll buy him a drink, give him a timer, and get to work. But seriously, just ask a friend to go with you to a coffee shop and offer to buy them a drink (or two) in exchange for 2.5 hours of their time? Other than that, just take a timer with you to a public place that you want to practice. It's not really that different unless you cheat....

Princeton Review offers a free diagnostic test, the June 2007 one.

You could always just bring your own PT into the test center and sit through it and hand nothing in.

Weird.  My office offers an older test.

Still? They're supposed to have done away with those. They may still have some of the more dated PrepTests lying around.
