I received an email saying that they were going to wait until August 4th before they make a decision about me

I suggest that you call Duke to try to get some answers about this.  Ask about OCI too.  Duke is definitely a school that you would want to hold out for (or at least I would).

do you think there is a real chance to get in or its very very unlikely??
I have the OCI deadline very very very close.... I have no idea what to do...
what happens if we bid for the employers and then we don't end up in that school?
