Double Major

Another soft question....

How do schools look at double majors?  I will be graduating with both a B.A. and a B.S.  Is this only another soft, or when adcoms are looking at GPA will this be a factor?

It's just another soft factor, and not a very unusual one, unfortunately (I had two majors, too.)   If you had a particularly difficult major, you can try to communicate that to the adcoms through your resume or recommendations.  But your GPA is your GPA, and 90% of this process is numbers.

It's another soft factor.  I also have a BA (history) and a BS (chemistry).  You will find that many people in law school have double majors, duel degrees or even graduate degrees.  It's impressive to people outside academia, but in law school it isn't abnormal.

BA Political Science and BS Economics here. It really doesn't make that much of a difference. It only really matters if you're a borderline applicant. If not, it really isn't that special. I always tell college kids that it's worth more to do better in school with one degree, than to graduate with two degrees with a hit on your gpa.
