Chambana Prospects
« on: July 18, 2008, 03:30:02 PM »
University of Illinois -for me- has a lot of good going for it. Close to home, close to both the capital and Chicago for internships, and in state tuition. My one concern is my job prospects coming out of Illinois. I've heard people indicate that U of I places solidly outside of its region, primarily the DC area, and I've hear that I will be locked into Chicago/STL/Indy area. Does anyone have a real opinion on this? I don't really want to go to NW or UC because even if I do get in I simply will not get the sort of aid package I will be comfortable with, but I also don't like the idea of being chained to the midwest.
