Visiting student matriculation questions....

Hello all!! I plan on visiting a school in my hometown area... I was wondering what the pro and cons of visiting a school would be...
   Does it really matter all that much which school I could visit?? It is a huge advantage just to put a school's name on a resume even though i dont' get a degree?? Perhaps networking is better at one school over another...

Should I really choose a top law school over another one that is cheaper and closer?? What options can I gain by visiting a top law school if I'm not going to get their degree??

Lets take UPenn v. Villanova v. Temple for example....

  Anyway is the standards still the same if I was going to visit a school as a non-metriculating student?? Villanova would be the closest to my hometown county...
   Does anyone have any information on being a visiting student?? and the pros and cons of such??
