somehow my civ pro professor ended up on my gchat list and I'm very confused
my civ pro prof was much like a handful of quaaludes
My civ pro proff used SIERRA CLUB V. MORTON, 405 U. S. 727 (1972) to go through procedure and she spent WEEKS on that case alone.
Most boring class ever. With how much time we spent on that case I could probably speak the entire opinion to you from memory.
We spent a solid 7 weeks on Goldberg v. Kelly.
wow. we spent maybe half a class on that, tops. we also got a musical rendition/review of the entire course in 5 minutes, which was pretty sweet
Well, in all fairness, we didn't just spend 7 weeks talking about the facts of the case, he used that case to show us all the different motions and memos and whatnot that is a part of litigation. I think he picked that case simply because it's one of the richest in terms of having ridiculous amounts of court documents available. Anyway, I know a shitload about how much it sucks to be broke in New York after that class, so it's all good.
