The Betty White spot scored the highest on the ad meter.  Personally, I also enjoyed Google and I liked the Audi spot.  I'm really sick of the E-Trade baby, and I propose that we consider Godaddy.com ads an act of terrorism.  And wtf is up with all of the commercials that were trying to rip off "The Hangover?"

It was a great game though.  Apparently it had a larger audience than the MASH finale, making it the most watched program ever.  Crazy!

<3 Betty White <3

As to the bolded, I wholeheartedly agree and would endorse your candidacy for president on that platform alone.

I totally agree. I love Betty White.

ION but somewhat related my sister got back from New Orleans yesterday. She was telling me that the reason Steve Zahn was down there is because is is one of the monarchs for one of the krewes for Mardi Gras (Orpheus is the krewe). Another monarch this year - Taylor Dayne!
Made me think of some of y'al (especially MA) who appreciate her music as I do.

Hey, you don't want to push me in Nav's direction. That wonderful hair color and a uniform to boot, are you kidding me? :D

Uh oh.  You'd better be careful - do you really want Nav mad at you?

I've enjoyed a lovely day of watching snow fall and working in my pajamas.  now i'm deep in the middle of a random kevin smith marathon with my man.  snow days are the best.

question:  when an appeal is perfected, but a statute says that the trial court retains jurisdiction, where does jurisdiction lie?

How do you mean?  Jurisdiction is cabined in subject matter.

typically the trial court is divested of jurisdiction after a final order is issued and an appeal is perfected.  however, if there is a rule or statute which says that in certain circumstances a trial court retains jurisdiction after a final order -- but makes no mention of appeals -- does the the trial court truly retain jurisdiction or must the appellate court remand in order to return jurisdiction?

my argument is that rule or statute trumps perfection of appeal, but i want to hear what others think before i file for reconsideration.....
