There's a transfer yahoo group where you could probably get details, but probably top 15% (as Boalt tends to take a lot of its transfers from other Cali schools.)

I have a friend who transferred from BYU to UCLA. And didn't even have that good of grades. And Boalt would be fun. I'm thinking of going to the ASW.

I have one friend who transferred from Hofstra to Georgetown, one from Cornell to Columbia, and one from Fordham to Columbia.  My friends are T14 whores.  I'm bucking that trend 

My point is that not impossible but you probably have to do really well.

Waking up and getting motivated for stuff.  

I'm back on coffee again, It's been a while and I like the flavor, especially with donuts!  Not everyday though and only one cup per day that I do it.  Alert the media...

Some schools have said that they'll take additional documents.  I might write a couple of "why X" statements.  But, right now I'll probably just get a third recommendation.  I asked a prof last year to write me a rec for two schools that I was WL'ed at - but I have no clue whether he actually did it.  I'll e-mail him asking him to send that rec to my held schools.  I want to ask him whether he sent that rec in to my two WL'ed schools last year so I know if I can trust him to do it this year - but it just all seems so awkward.  I have to meet with my advisor in a couple of days, I should probably just ask him to do it.

Maybe ask him to submit the letters to LSDAS and then you know when they're in and can have them sent to the schools you specify?
