thats better than bottom 30%, so be happy. You don't want to stress yourself out too much at this point, so don't dwell on the fact that if you don't get an A in proprty will be never get a job as a lawyer ever, anywhere, and you will be sent to debters prsion and people will poke you with pointy sticks and laugh, so there is no pressure.

I don't know if Trev's school is like mine but I actually have midterms in some classes. I actually only have one that counts. I had one that was a practice one as well. Its a good system because you get a feel of what the prof is looking for.

My torts professor told us what he was looking for on the final during a one hour 'review of the final' session he did over 3 months AFTER the first semester final.  He also took almost 3 months to grade our finals and submit the results to admin so I think his sudden 'review' session was tokenism to make up for making us wait so long for grades. 

His review session was basically "there were 89 issues you could have spotted and written about contained in my 4 page fact pattern.  The person with the highest grade spotted 27 of them and most people spotted around 19-22 of them.  Any questions?"

He was lucky to get out of the classroom alive that day!

all my classes are like normal: one final in the fall, one final in the spring, except at UGA, the fall's finals are worth 1/3 and the spring's are worth 2/3.

but in my property class, it's a lot more like undergrad.  we get a fall midterm, a fall final, and a spring midterm.  2 of those tests are worth 20% each, and you can drop the third (whichever is the lowest grade).  We also get quizzes (approximately 25-30) of which only the 10 best count, and those are worth 20% of the final grade.  Lastly, the spring final is worth 40% of the grade.  it's pretty nice, but a bit nerve wracking since he's a super out-there prof.  he's got like a PhD in math and then his JD from Stanford, so he's just super policy oriented and not much BLL. 

The highest grade in the class only got 55% of the possible points on the exam...pretty brutal IMO.
