So I did not pass. Don't know how cloase I was yet, have to order a copy of my test. I also found out I was the only one of 9 people who requested accomdiations who was denied. I'd like to think if I had more time on the essyas and not had to stop writing 10 mins erly for each question to spell check I would have done better. But I won't know for sure till I get my copy of the exam in a few weeks. So I'm on for feburray ang going to appleal my denial of accomdiations (espially sice there is some school listed on their denial letter I never even went to).

Yea I’m going to fight hard for accommodations again, I’m contacting a professor at my school who is a specialist in writing disorders, I hope he can help me. The standard WAIS III does not address writing disorders like mine. The report from the bar said I read fine so there was no reason for any extra time. WFT anyone who knows me here knows my problem is with writing not reading, if the test was not ½ writing I would be fine.

They did not even address my writing disability, they simply said you read fine so you’re denied. They let everybody with ADD (which I also have) have between 25-50% more time on the entire test, except me. I just want enough time to spell check my writing and get what I have to say written on the essay portion. Its very frustrating. I don’t want any advantage I just want a shot at competing with normal people who don’t have to work so hard just to get something written on a piece of paper so its readable.

Was the cord hanging and you accidentally pulled it down somehow to yank the thing onto your head?  

I hope it didn't hurt your head badly or give you a concussion.  I've had several, the last one being in April when I ended up with 13 stitches in my head. If they are minor they are no big deal, just some time of being a little dazed and fuzzy.

Since an iron is pretty heavy, if you feel nausea or other symptoms of a severe concussion, get to a hospital ASAP.

It was on top of some boxes and I pulled a bottom one out which caused the iron to fall. I have had a few concussions before. This wasn't too serious. I think the worst part was that the tip hit my head and caused a little cut. Just a little light headed. No nausea
