Mich v. Duke v. GULC
« on: July 16, 2008, 08:56:51 AM »
Greets all,

I'm a transfer student and have been admitted to the above.  Any thoughts on what choice I should go with?

I'm transferring b/c I know the better school will open up more doors, both short and long term.  I also have some possible academic aspirations, although membership on a journal, secondary or primary, isn't a foregone conclusion at any school and the opportunity is available at all.  Assuming all other things are equal, which should I choose?

Thanks for any feedback.

Michigan or Duke...
I don't know a lot about Duke, but I do know that Michigan Law is great, one of the very very best

Congrats on your acceptances!  I'm a rising 2L at Mich, so feel free to PM me if you have any specific questions.  I chose Mich over Duke and GULC and have absolutely no regrets.

Hmmm, well I personally would go to Michigan.  My reasons though are I don't like Duke and I feel Michigan is a better school than Georgetown.
