I have a buddy who is going to apply to law school next fall. He has a 3.9+ UGPA, URM, strong soft factors and one of the smart guys I know. I have helped him prep for the LSAT, and on the practice tests he flies through each section with very good accuracy. He is scoring 170-175 on the practice tests, when they are timed, in a live environment like a library. I don't see any reason he will not be able to score a 165-170 on an actual test, especially with another couple months to prep.
Anyway, he is not taking the test until October 4. 3.9 UGPA, URM, 170, he will be shooting for HYS. Is there enough time to get the results from the October 4 LSAT and put in decent applications, early enough in the cycle, to stand a legitimate shot at HYS?
