Hey everyone, I called a small firm that I was interested in today to inquire about working there for my 2L summer and was told that they have already hired their summers for next year. I was under the impression that firms did not start recruiting until later in the summer/fall. Hmmmm.

Hey everyone, I called a small firm that I was interested in today to inquire about working there for my 2L summer and was told that they have already hired their summers for next year. I was under the impression that firms did not start recruiting until later in the summer/fall. Hmmmm.

Small firms do whatever they want.  NALP firms are really the only ones on a set track.  And then a lot of firms follow that track because it makes sense.
