This has probably been hashed out xmillion times before, but to bring it back up to the surface where people won't have to dig through all these other posts -- a simple question that I cannot find an answer for:

If a university website states that they accept up to say two LORs, but then LSDAS/LSAC  states in its list that the school takes up to four, who do you listen to? I have four professors writing letters for me, all in different capacities.

I'd love to submit all four to as many schools as possible, but what do I do in the case of a difference between university requirements and LSAC/LSDAS requirements?

Thanks!
