I dunno, with the $12 you'll have to pay for the LSDAS report, it only comes out to $8 of free iTunes. I'd rather fork over the $8.

Anyone else get the Alabama fee waiver in their e-mail today?

I had to laugh at little.  It offered an application fee waiver as well as $20 in free iTunes downloads.  I mean, I'm definitely going to apply now, but still... 

Anyone predict how big a jump in rankings this could net Alabama?  I could see it seriously pulling up their admitted lsats/gpas.  Would probably hurt their yield, though.

That email was a big WTF, now I feel like I'm buying a time share instead of applying to law school

Alabama is interesting.  It's definitely a good law school but it's also the highest ranking strictly regional law school in America.  I mean the degree does not carry very far beyond state lines how it's propped up fairly high.  I wonder if we'll see Alabama as a much more national school in a few years if they continue to incrementally climb and improve reputation scores.

Maybe they'll start giving Law Firms iTunes gift certificates for interviewing their students

Well, I mean, if you consider 100º, 50% humidity great, then, well, you'll love it. But yeah, I love how Alabama included a $20 iTunes gift certificate thing (which is $8 net after that LSDAS report.. of course). That's so Alabama, sigh.
