This is probably a silly question, but how does one check for hidden fee waivers on LSAC? Do you just submit the application and receive a pleasant surprise, or is there a way to check if you have a fee waiver before filling out/submitting the application?

sorry to have joined the discussion late, but just to make sure, getting a fee waiver doesn't mean all that much? I got one from Duke the other day.

Feb. 2008 LSAT: 166
Oct. 2008 LSAT:
Will apply to: Penn, UMich, N'western, Cornell, Cal, Duke, UChicago, G'town, Harvard, GW, Vanderbilt, UVa

It means approx $70 a pop - I don't know about you but that's quite a bit to me
Best of luck to everyone!

heh, yeah I understood the basic concept... I was wondering if it was any indicator of your chances at that school. But, uh, thanks for the responses.

I got both Duke Priority Track (via e-mail) and Michigan (via snail mail).  Very classy on Michigan's part to include a hand-written letter; this helped me to decide to apply there (I otherwise wouldn't have).

Didn't get Georgetown... but even if I had've got it, I wouldn't applied.  They did send me an application to apply, however- just no fee waiver.

The boycott lives - but so does college football! yeehaw!

It's August 27th... and the boycott goes down in flames.
Almost a valiant effort.
Best of luck to everyone!
