waitlisters and tuition deadlines

so I assume that pretty much all you waitlisters are in somewhere and that, like me you have deposited at a school that is going to want you to pay tuition near the end of july, but your dream school is still sending you letters saying that they might accept you in late august.
what are you gonna do?

Assume I am going to school A. If I hit the jackpot with school B (highly unlikely), I will transfer my loan to school B. The first school sometimes hangs on to part of it, depending on when you withdraw.
An ugly situation, but doable.

or you are like me, you are in a masters program and waitlisted in a law school, but you really rather goto the law school
