Don't worry about debt so much. If you don't land a big firm job you can always die. If you die, then your debt is forgiven!  :)

Clever.

Is it just me, or is anyone else OK with being in the top 30-40%, and not making 180K the first year out of law school? I see so many posts from people thinking their life is over cause they didn't make law review, or finish in the top 10%...I mean great, consider yourself elitist if you do finish in the top of your class and go to Skadden Arps, but I'll be the one laughing when I work a manageable 40-50 hours a week and live comfortably while you keel over at age 40. I mean I know a bunch of attorneys that are making 300-400K/year that did only OK in law school, because they worked hard at their first jobs, and impressed their employers. It's possible you know.

Blatant, blatant Skadden trolling.

There's a lot of that on this board.  I don't know what the deal is.

Why is it Skadden trolling?  They have a large SA class, and, as a result, they fill it with a variety of schools.  It's also the biggest and most lay prestigious firm in the nation.

I'm mostly kidding.
