Mental Illness

I was curious if anyone on the boards suffers from mental illness and how this has affected their application process. Is a mental illness viewed as a disability for the sake of boosting the strength of an application? If I had disciplinary problems before I was diagnosed and medicated, will these hurt my chances drastically? Lastly, are there any law students reading this with a psychiatric diagnosis? Any input would be much appreciated.

What mental illness do you suffer from? My answer to you would depend on the severity and type.
