"Black's Law Dictionary" - Useful?

A relative knows I'm heading to Law School and was considering purchasing this for me as a gift if I thought it'd be useful...what say you, LSD?  Do people use this, or does the internet suffice for this type of material?

I want a hard copy. I still like to read hard copies of things.

I think its probably good to have one.  I usually use the internet but sometimes projects/assignments call for just using a book and it might help.  Plus, sometimes i just like to use a book, so I can tell my kids we still had books.

I've used my hard copy before, and was glad I had it (IMO, it's sometimes faster to look the damn word up than to open a browser page, sign in to Westlaw, type in the word, and wait for the definition to load).  And I think I'll be glad to have it when I start practicing and Westlaw is no longer free.

I bought a pocket version and have used it off and on a few times. My theory is if I am not near a computer or don't want to start it up, it is easier to just grab the book.
