I'd highlight his exam advice. I've spent the past couple of weeks trying to figure out why I did so much better my second semester than my first (over .4 difference in GPA), and the closest I can come to is that I set up my exams in the second semester much the way he did. I tried in the first semester to argue both sides, but I was much more haphazard about it.

I think the key thing to understand is that people learn and study very differently, but most successful exams are done similarly.

For what it's worth, I probably studied less my second semester than my first overall
