Bottom Third at BC, BU

I'd also be interested in hearing what happens to the bottom 1/3 at BC (not that I'm planning on being on the bottom 1/3, but who knows).

The best part is that she moved to NYC before she had a job. Moving to the most expensive city in the country BEFORE getting a job will really help out your loan situation...genius.

I would go so far as to argue that moving to NYC in general is not a genius move on anybody's part.

current student here:  you will have a hard time finding a big firm job with anything below a 3.0 (around top 2/3).  I'd suggest focusing on smaller/mid firms and public interest.  i think everyone usually finds a job though, just not the 160k ones.
