Hello all,
  I'm on a waitlist for a school, and they called me yesterday.  I didn't get to my phone, and when I called back she was in a meeting.  Although I fully intend on going somewhere else, I'm still curious - would a LS call to reject you? Opine away!

A phone call can only be good news at this point!! They're so busy they definitely don't have time to be calling people to reject them off waitlists.

Update: I've called her back twice and I've yet to hear. Maybe its a one-shot phone call and then that's your only chance.  If it is I'm going to have to laugh/cry/killself cause I screened the call cause I didn't recognize the number and I knew it wasn't my LS calling.

Maybe it was a call to see if you're still interested. I got a call from a school asking if I was still interested in attending. I just said, 'Absolutely!' and got in via email the next week with money.

Got an email yesterday - I'm in.  Formal acceptance coming next week. 90% sure I won't go

And I agree on dollar being poo. @#!* the euro - I want my scholarship in sterling pounds.
