Looks like I'm good on 0L reading. How about some good fiction not related to the law?

Just picked up When You are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris--it's a very good time.

I wrote a book report on Love Medicine. I got an A...

For real? We are so meant to be BFFs.
Did you enjoy the book or was your A due to effortless natural brilliance?

Yeah, freshman year of college...for a native american history class...I enjoyed the class...I enjoyed the book...

But I'd be lying if I didn't say my natural brilliance had an effect on my grade...and my ability to work the system...(English professor had us read the book earlier in the year so I had some experience to draw on in the history class)...

Just read Jose Saramago's "Blindness."  I highly recommend it.

Since my favorite posters all claimed the book is God, I ordered "Guerrilla Tactics to the Legal Job of your Dreams" (or something like that. dunno if I got the exact words right). Can't hurt to read in case I fall short of my goal of top 10% 1L year.

I recently read Jeffrey Toobin's "The Nine: Inside the Secret World of the Supreme Court." Page turner. I highly recommend it.
