this website attracts people obsessed with the whole process of legal education, or, if it hadn't attracted them here because of that, it inculcates it into them by the time they've lurked for a while. In other words, LSD itself makes you into an LSDer ...  ;)

QFT.  I self-studied, and didn't even seek out a forum like this until after I'd gotten into the 170s and started seriously thinking about school.  I think you have the combination of a self-selecting sample combined with some people either exaggerating, lying, or only selectively reporting their results.

Human here. Am thrilled with the 158 I got yesterday, as my cold test was a 152. My plans do not include master of the universe; and while I wish I had a fellowship-producing score, my trouble with games precludes me from those. I look at the lsac gpa and lsat finder and find that plenty of schools are interested in my numbers. Jump through this hoop everyone, and best of luck.

Huh?
LOL
Are you going to pelt them with rocks if you did?
Jealousy is such a cruel mistress.

BTW, there's a difference between being a gunner and being an overachiever.

Elaborate on the difference between being a gunner and being an overachiever!

Overachievers can be discreet.
Gunners are never discreet.
Typical gunner comment:  Aw damn, I scored a 170 on my first diagnostics.  How should I study for this exam?

Though, I think we can all agree that basically anyone (overachiever or not), who feels the need to constantly think about or talk about their own score (good or bad), is a d0uche bag
The fact is, once were in law school, no one is going to give a damn.
Accept your scores, and Ill accept mine, and I wont hold any grudges against the folks who do better or worse.  Good luck to all.

But, for us pre-law, talking about our progress on this forum is completely acceptable.  Its the whole point of the forum, so there's no reason to whine.  All the posts that bother you should give you more incentive and motivation to study harder.
