That many waitlists suck, I applied to 13 schools and got absolutely zero waitlists, not sure what that means if anything.  I think my case my be stranger than numerous waitlists.

I'm not so sure about this. on one hand it's nice to be in the hunt... BUT if i were outright rejected at least i would know where the hell i'm moving in a little over a month.
