Bar character and fitness Question
« on: June 01, 2008, 08:21:47 PM »
I recently realized I made a somewhat significant omission on an application to a law school WHICH I DO NOT ATTEND. The question is, does the bar, when making its character and fitness determination, look at every application you submitted or just the application of the school from which you graduate? Perhaps it varies by state - if so, does anyone know the most common practice?

Thanks.
The only thing I know for certain is the extent of my ignorance.

I doubt it.  I've heard its a pretty standard background check.

My impression is that they just review the application from the school that you attended.  Otherwise, how would a law school you didn't attend know which state to submit your application?

Did you even have to list all the law schools that you applied to on your application?
