"Princeton Review ranked Northwestern Law #1 in "career prospects""

Oh please. Are you seriously suggesting that Northwestern law graduates have better career opportunities than Yale, Stanford and Harvard grads?!  Princeton Review is a bit of a joke.

Depends on what they mean by "career prospects."  I'm not sure, but I'm guessing a lot of that figure has to do with average starting salaries.  I read somewhere that, since so many more HYS students do clerkships and public-interest work, the average salary made by grads is lower.  (Notice NU, Chicago, and Michigan are all ranked higher than Harvard.)  If you factored out clerks, academics, and public-interest attorneys, and focused only on, say, big-firm prospects for NU grads vs. SLS grads, the SLS prestige would probably prove to carry more weight.

Well now we know who had to settle for the bottom of the T14 and how badly they want to make a claim that they had a choice
