suggestions:   are you looking to stay in the same place for awhile?  If so, I'd suggest somewhere in Midtown, there's lots of available apts and the area is cleaning up.   A Target is going to be going in at Poplar/Cleveland in the next year or so.

I'm close to Overton Park & Stonewall and it's a 5.5 mile commute to the law school.  10-12 minutes from driveway to law school garage.   It'll be < 2 miles when the law school moves.

I currently live in Shreveport, Louisiana with my husband and have been accepted to Memphis for the fall.  I need to buy a house or a condo to qualify for in-state tuition...since we already own a house, and don't really have any desire to settle in Memphis (want to get back to East TN) - the CHEAPER the better.

Any suggestions would be helpful!  Thanks.
