1. tuition2. bar privilege (even if you don't practice in WI, as a member of the bar of any state you are qualified to try federal cases.)3. faculty4. clerkships (including SCOTUS for WI)5. atmosphere. you are at a world class research university. just as one example the genetics department here is one of the best in the known universe. why is that significant? you meet people. students. researchers. think venture capital, emerging technologies. cellular dynamics international and nimblegen are just two companies that leap to mind where new lawyers have paired with researchers here in madison to make a mint. engineering is huge here. more options. i could go on. that is why it is a better school than Tulane; again, I think Tulane is a fine school, but its not a major American public university. the quality of life and the cost of living are tough to beat. crime is non-exisent. 6. the risk of getting annihilated by a hurricane is zero.dude your wisconsin trolling is scary.for me it would be Tulane, but that is because this guy pissed me off and I also detest cold weather and cheese.
