Has anyone called Emory to find out where they are on the list?

Yes I have.  They have been disclosing rankings since May 15.

I have too.  Does anyone know realistically how low they might go on the waitlist?  There are 4 groups and I just wonder how many people end up dropping out and how many they expect to let in from the waitlists.

hey i know there are 4 groups like Buster mentioned. i heard that there are 80 people in the first group... but is it 80 in each group? and i really hope they go deep in the WL, emory is my top choice and i'd be very disappointed if its a no-go for me :(

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but when I called, they said that in a recent previous year (I can't remember if they said it was last year or the year before) they didn't touch the wait list at all.  Another year, they didn't get past the first group.
