Does AA help black women more than black men?

I was surprised when i heard this mentioned. Someone told me that law schools would sooner admit a black woman than admit a  black man if their credentials are equal. The reasoning was that it would be killing two birds with one stone, helping both the African American and the female numbers. But aren't there more women than men in law school, making men more of a commodity in admissions>

I think black men are helped the most by AA in admissions. I forget the exact stat, but it's something like 1 black man attends law school for every 2 black women that attend law school. Black men are easily the most underrepresented group in law schools (and I believe college in general) relative to the size of their overall population.

AA has helped many struggling with drinking...now let it go.
