Congrats.  Right to form, though: extremely high number folks get off first.  Generally need relatively high numbers to get off regardless of timing.

So why wait list splitters or lower numbered people in the first place?

Couldn't tell you.  Take a look at LSN for the past few cycles and you'll see that that my perception appears to be reality.

At least a couple calls on the 2nd or 3rd last year.  Think those were the first waitlist admits last cycle, though, so Dean Deal might not have similar plans this year.
