FIU has an amazing undergrad but after finishing my first year at Miami, I get the impression the law school is not so hot.  Cheap, but has no reputation.

I am planning to transfer no matter what but how does St. Thomas fall in comparison to FIU, Nova, UM and the Miami market?

I haven't heard anything about St. Thomas for a really long time.  I've never run into a current or former student.  If I had to choose between St. Thomas and  FIU, I'd pick FIU only because I actually know it exists.

Don't count on a transfer. Everyone expects to be at the top of their class, only 10% actually are.
