Up from 8% to 60% in just one year, wow. I wonder what the impetus was. I think it's a great step in diversifying law firms throughout America, but quite honestly, MUCH more needs to be done in terms of attracting more minority to actually apply to law school. I was looking at stats for law students from my ethnicity and it shows a decline or flat line in the raw number of matrics since the late 1980s.
