UNC Waitlist

Anyone know anything about the UNC wait list. Do they usually let a lot of people in off the wait list? UNC is my first choice...I've sent a few letters of continued interest stating that I would definitely attend if admitted, and I'm also trying to get an additional letter of recommendation sent in. Any other advice?

I just got wait listed at UNC as well. I applied as an out of state student.

im waitlisted too and im out of state...

Hey guys, add one more to the wait list. So I was checking out the stats and if the entering class is 269 and 75 percent of those accepted are from in state, and 75 percent of those that applied are from out of state, that means that several thousand are competing for something like 65 spots. So I am guessing that they have a pretty good number they can put on the wait list. I tried to get the lady in admissions to tell me how many where on the list, but she would not budge. Anyway, good luck to both of you...
