Transferring from US to Canadian law school?
« on: August 14, 2005, 01:00:31 PM »
Yes, it would have been much easier to apply as a first year, but couldn't for personal reasons (baby).

Would it be possible to transfer in after my first year? How possible?

Stats:

3.44 cgpa
3.71 last two years
161 LSAT
5 years business experience (sales)

I'm in at a top tier 2 school in the Mid-South. I'm interested in Queen's and Western, primarily, but if another school has a reputation as being "friendly" to transfers I'm open to suggestions. I've checked with some of the school's websites, but they don't have much to say on the subject aside from "Yes, we do accept some/few/perhaps none."

Thank you in advance for your help.  :)
