Civil Rights Law?

USNWR doesn't give any indication of rankings for Civil Rights Law and it seems to be really difficult to find information on the study of this branch of law. Does anyone know if there are schools that are really well regarded in the field?
None of the big schools seem to allow you to focus on civil rights law, but do any ofthem have a solid reputation for civil rights profs or anything of the sort?

Try searching through faculty profiles and course offerings at schools that you are already interested in. It can help you narrow down the list.

I think often civil rights law gets mixed in with public interest law when it comes to websites and rankings. So I'd look for good public interest schools/centers and then look within that for specific faculty and courses on civil rights law. I have been pretty impressed with all that I've read about UNCs civil rights law center. I am a bit NC-biased, but still it seems pretty strong.

Looks like Harvard is a big shot in civil rights, they have a law journal dedicated to civil rights and civil liberties. I think I will apply there as well now. It's an EXTREME reach, but shoot for the stars...
