Hindsight is always 20/20.   ::)

does that also apply to WMD then?

The whole WMD thing and the justification for going to war with Iraq is why I didn't vote for Bush in 04.  I'm in the AF, and if I'd have screwed up that badly, I'd have been court-martialed... and I should know... I work in Military Justice.

Instead of thinking "center," Gail, think of it as "rising above."

I think it's called being educated and willing to learn from others who know more than me.

There is nothing wrong with that. But don't think that many peoiple on here automatically know MORE than you, or anyone else for that matter.

I don't think there were many others that would have acted differently either.

I just mean that, I don't feel very comfortable talking about what we should/shouldn't do in Iraq because I'm not in the military, nor am I an expert on foreign policy.

Energy I know a bit more about (my dad ran a company that manufactured pipe for oil drilling), as well as reproductive issues (because I've been involved with Planned Parenthood in some fashion since I was 18).

Well, see you DO know more than some people about that. I don't really know anything about energy. Don't feel bad about jumping in on conversation when you don't know THAT much. I'm sure many people on here know nothing about some things, yet still chime in because they feel obligated?

I also don't think that we should be talking about certain issues that we dont know anything about. The whole Rove conversation is all speculation. None of us were there, unless Rove frequents this site, which I doubt ;)

Part of me thinks the Rove thing was a really big deal with all kinds of serious implications....but another part of me just felt like is was a whole bunch of foo foo nothing

It had my interest for about 2 weeks. Now I'm ready for the next thing.
