Primary selection criteria: (1) Writing and research experience; (2) Law review, moot court, trial team, or comparable; (3) Class rank.

Position length: Usually 2 years
Florida Bar Exam Required
Salary: The minimum salary for staff attorneys is $43,558.92. Appointments above the minimum may be made based on experience. Appointments are 10% below the minimum ($39,203.03) if the individual is not a member of the Florida Bar. These amounts will rise by 3.6 percent effective August 1, 2005.
