I don't have a computer at home and my job is really, really boring with no supervision.  It really was unavoidable.

I won't in the future though, I have been lucky not get caught.

It is normal porn.

Scrub that harddrive, say 10 Hail Marys and 5 Our Fathers, and you shall be forgiven, my child.

I suggest catching your computer on fire the last day and saying it was an accident.

There's a good chance they know about it already. There are programs that record what's on your computer screen and you would never even know about it.

That's why it's a bad idea to say horrible things about your boss or start an office affair via your yahoo/hotmail account when you're at work. You think you're being sneaky by not using your company's mail network, but they can still read it.

I know a little more about this than I should!

Well if your IE goes through a proxy server, then they have all of the web pages you've been to stored on that server. If they do this they probably check it and most likely would have said something to you already. Also, depending on the size of the company and what type of company it is you're probably not in any danger.

Not that I wanted to erase my hard drive at work  ::) , but I was wondering if there is a magnet that you can turn off and on?  Not that I, or anyone I know, would want to put it on top of their computer and turn it on, mind you.  ::)

Those strong magnets that are always 'on' strike me as being dangerous to have around the house.

just search for industrial magnets - they're pretty common.  mind you though, you will do more than just erase your hard drive.

PBW - what are you doing about law school?
