Bookbag choices -- I'm using a day pack

I took some big books and my computer with me to REI to see how the different book bags felt. I quickly decided that with that much weight, a lapbelt makes a huge difference, so instead of getting the classic bookbag I actually got a daypack. Really doesn't feel like a lot of weight b/c it takes it off your shoulders.

It seems a little large doesn't it? Have you used it yet? What about one of those bags with wheels?

Nah, it's only 3000 cubic inches, and a lot of that is the top that cinches down.

As long as you're not planning on using a fanny-pack, i think you're cool.
