Personal statement help!

Is it okay to write the personal statement about "public interest" work (*hence, reflecting that I want to do public interest law) and at the same time, write another essay about why I want to attend a particular school with my international law interest?  Would law schools think I have no focus?  I haven't decided what area I want to do yet.  Also, I am not sure if it will be redundant to talk about public interest in both essays

Something like 90% of students who express their interest in practicing public interest law end up working for a private firm right after graduation, and adcomms consequently take those statements to infer more about the type of person you are than the type of law you will ultimately practice.  Same goes for international law, to an extent.  I'm not trying to criticize your ambitions, because the good news is that law schools will gauge your interests from those essays, not necessarily your career path.  I'd write both.
