What is minority outside of law school?

this has nothing to do with law school, but I was wondering, outside of law school admissions etc. What is a minority? Is it ONLY black, hispanic, american indian? Or, are others included like Arab, Asian, italian, Greek, Irish, etc? ANY others? I am just wondering for purposes of filling out a form for ,y job interview. Does anybody know?

here in america, if you are non-white you are a minority.

if you are non-WASP, you are also, in some circles, considered a minority.

Rather closed-minded. There are many circles where WASPs are the minority.

A. not to nit pick, but whatyoudreamof siad "in some circles" non-WASPs are minorities.

B. I highly doubt that an application asks "Are you a minority?"  Vinny is prolly just trying to spark another AA debate.

C. Greeks and Italians are considered white where I am from.

I am not trying to spark another AA debate, this is not the AA board, afterall.
I am just curious as to others opinions in the matter.

Uh, no.  Put that you're Greek on the application if you really want to; it's up to whoever's doing the hiring to interpret it how they want.

Wow, I guess people did notice I've been gone. I cam back to school here. Auditioning for the Band of the Fighting Irish (ND marching band, for those that don't know, lol) on the trombone. I think it would be fun for senior year to be in it, since I been in the other bands before too.

I am putting Greek on all my apps, even since I found out I am I have been. Before that I thought I was Spanish, since I am adopted and my mom never cared to answer me when I asked.

I'm trying not to be so controversial anymore, I don't think that it helps matters any, but we all agree to disagree so that's cool.
