How Many Letters of Continued Interest is TOO many?
« on: July 25, 2005, 01:15:20 PM »
So...I was put on the wait list a little over a week ago, sent a letter of continued interest as well as a LOR from my boss that the school got on Friday...fighting the urge to send another today...

I'm moving to the area of the school this weekend regardless of getting in...should I e-mail them and just update my address, let them know that I really want to go, again...or wait for a week...

Is one letter a week too much?

In your letter, did you say that you would "for sure" attend their school if accepted?  If not, send one of those and then stop it.

In my letter...I did say they were my preferred program, precisely what I wanted to study...and that I was very excited to begin school there...

I updated them about my recent accomplishments, yada, yada...and why there program is the best for me and that I'll work hard as a student and graduate...blah, blah...

Only news now is that I'm moving down there...

Let them know that.  Arrange a visit.

Welcome to SoCal!

Enjoy your tour. May I recommend luch at a place called Rutabegorz about a tiny block or two from the law school. It's on the same side of the street as you go towards the Orange Circle. You'll know what I'm talking about when you get in the area.

Good luck with Chapman and/or Western.
