What type of attire/dress for orientation?

OK, so here's the deal. My school sent me the info about orient., but did not mention what type of attire students should be sporting. Should I be cautious and do the suit thing, which will be difficult because i only have one suit, lol, or should i do the casual thing?

What has y'all schools told y'all to wear? Maybe that will give me a clue.

I anticipate wearing nice jeans and either a button down or a nice pullover with some Steve Madden shoes (at least for day one) after that it may be shorts and a t-shirt..

Don't do the suit thing. It's not an interview. I think jeans or khaki's are best for the first day

They will tell you if you need a suit.  At Notre Dame, one day is casual dress and the other is professional attire.

First day at Emory is casual, second day is business formal/suits.

If you needed a suit, they'd likely tell you.  Why don't you just call the office of admin. and ask if business formal is expected?

Personally, I'd recommend flip flops and a speedo (men) or bikini (women).

Sure to make a first impression.

Bring along an inflatable pool device, and snorkel and goggles for added fun.
