UTexas Admissions Change

Anyone care to speculate on how UT's increased proportion of non-residents admitted will affect admissions there?

Before the change I was thinking I'd need a 170. After the change, I'm thinking 175. This may seem a bit high, but, seeing as I don't really want to go anywhere else, Ill err on the side of caution.

As for the school, I think they'll crack the top 14, after which I'll raise a pint of Shiner for all you fools that think Texas is TTT.

Its not solid - 3.16 over all. Bombed out my first year, 3.76 since. LSAC GPA's a female dog.

Compared to Texas, GULC sucks.  I don't know many people who think highly of GULC.  Also, I think Texas is better than Duke, though Duke can stay in the Top14 if GULC drops.

How many people here have heard and regurgitated advice saying that rankings don't matter with regard to closely ranked schools.  Ask around; the general consensus is that Texas is a better school than Duke/GULC.
