First off, and I think this is a universal, you must be as well as appear to be CLEAN and free of natural fragrances such as B. O.
And are we only talking about looks?

Ok, I'll include my stuff and what I've gleaned from others on this board.
1. Clean
2. Have some sense of direction and desire to achieve realistic goals
3. Be on the path to achieving said goals (sometimes it's education, sometimes it's something else)
4. Be responsible for themselves
5. Respect and Care about you and family
6. An interest in maintaining their appearance (be it working out, dressing well, whatever, just not look like you roll out of bed every day and call it done)
7. Treats you and others decently
8. Giving of himself (be it time, money, consideration)
9. A lot of people prefer a man taller than themselves, I think you just need to be over 5'5", other stuff can make up for height it seems.
10. Have something in common
