Oh My God...This is Horrible

I just scored my first PS diagnostice and I got a 147!!!! This is really scaring me considering that I need a 165 or better. How much do you think I can improve this score by Oct?

I wouldn't worry too much - as you practice more, you will become more comfortable with the types of questions on the test and will become more familiar with your strengths and weaknesses. Just keep at it and keep a positive attitude!  ;D

Don't get down on yourself. In a month I went from a 148 to 159 and I've only been self studying. I'm sure you'll be fine as long as you do the PS HW. Dramatic improvement is possible if you work you butt off.

Yes. Do not be afraid. You will improve. Stay on top of the homework and do extra Preptests if you have the time.

see how much you improve the week before October 1st, and if you are still uncomfortable, postpone until december.

I agree.  I feel an incredible amount of pressure... even more so now that my PowerScore teacher told me what score he thinks I should be aiming for

I don't want to seem pompous so I'd rather not say the exact number...

But given that we're only 2 weeks into the class, he thinks that I should improve at least a few more points.
