Jennifer Connelly Hot, Dark Water Not

Saw the movie last night.  Thoroughly unimpressive movie, despite having an amazingly beautiful lead actress.  what'd yall think?

I completely agree!  The whole plot was completely cliched.  Am I the only one who is getting tired of seeing pale, spooky little children in horror/suspense movies?  What ever happened to the good old days of slasher films?  These days, too many movies are trying to "piggyback" on the successes of The Ring and The Sixth Sense. I strongly advise against anyone wasting money on this movie.

Remind me, again: to whom do you refer when you say "amazingly beautiful lead actress?"    (Just joking, btw.  I think Connelly is reasonably good-looking, but I think calling her gorgeous would be stretching it, in my humble opinion.  Especially when she has been known to wear clothing with an uncanny similarity to old drappery.  Jeez, even the Vontrap kids' clothes looked better than that thing!)
